Before actually activating your product, you must ensure that you have installed the latest version of Avast software in order to get the best results. Every Avast product comes with either an activation code or a license file for activation purpose which you can find right in the order confirmation email. If you received a license file with your product, you need to follow the below steps to activate it.

  3. • To Activate Avast Pro Antivirus from a license file, first, you need to locate and open your order confirmation email. • After that, right-click on the License.avastlic file in the attachments and save it to your PC, select a preferred or familiar location and then click on Save. • Now you need to right click on the Avast icon from your system tray and then click on Subscription Information. • Select Enter a valid activation code on the My licenses screen and then click on Use a license file below the Enter tab in green on Enter your activation code window. • Locate and then click on open on your previously save License.avastlic file. • After you see the Success page, you can select any available subscription if you bought an interchangeable product or else click Continue right away to complete the activation. • It’s all done; you’ve successfully activated your Avast Antivirus pro. Now, go to the Licenses on this PC option to check the validity of your subscription of Avast pro. • If you bought this product for multiple devices, follow the same steps to download and activate your product on other devices.
