  3. How To Locate The File? Follow the steps for locating the license file- • In the bottom of the system tray, right click on the Avast ! icon. • From the appeared menu choose About Avast ! • From the screen select License.

  4. • Search for the file on the system in the browser after clicking Browse button. You can find it with 'license.dat'. For each user, the location might differ but you can find it in the Windows temporary folder. • In XP, click on My Computer folder, in Vista look for Computer folder while in 7- from desktop go to Start menu. • Click on Local Disk (c): folder.
