  2. food Koalas eat 1.5 pounds of food. They also eat 500 grams of food. One of the foods a koalas eat is eucalyptus leaves. Some koalas eat from gum ball trees. Another fact is koalas are picky eaters.

  3. food Baby koalas sleep in there mothers pouch and eat for a year. Also koalas will sniff every leaf before theyeat. Koalas will not eat any thing but leaves.

  4. habitat • People can only find koalas in the eastern coast of Australia. • Although some koalas live in the lower wood lands of Australia. • Some koalas that live in the north have reddish fur.

  5. habitat • A koala that is already in a tree will growl’’ keep moving ’’ to keep others away from there territory. • A male koala will share a habitat with two or three females. • Koalas will hardly sleep or feed in the same tree. • Koalas will not sleep anywhere except a tree.

  6. INTERESTING I FACTS • Australia is the only place to find koalas. • A younger female koala usually have babies every year. • A older female usually has babies every two-three years. • Male koalas will rub there chest against a tree.

  7. INTERESTING FACTS • Now there are only 2,000 – 8,000 koalas in the wild. • Koalas are related to kangaroos. • A young koala usually ride on it’s mom’s back. • Koalas only stay in the same tree if they are mates.
