  7. 50 kW of Power is Generated Using the AstroArrays to Fully Operate Four Hall Thrusters • 158 W/kg of power-to-mass efficiency achieved by using the AstroMesh-based design • Simple rhombus shaped cell design maximizes panel mass efficiency while retaining low cost of production • 11 x 12 cell layout from standard 4” wafer • Rhombus panels with 80o acute angles Highly efficient AstroArrays provide ample power to Hall thrusters

Summary • Northrop Grumman’s recommended asteroid deflection mission demonstrates a full set of asteroid deflection approaches • Gravity tractoring • Direct SEP thrusting • Albedo modification • Our deflection mission is enabled by Solar Electric Propulsion and flight proven, high heritage spacecraft elements in conjunction with our integrated sensor suite • SEP is fully supported by NG’s AstroArray design, which generates a minimum of 50 kW of electrical power • AstroArray is based AstroMesh concept, which has 100% on-orbit success rate Northrop Grumman’s ARV concepts fully support NASA’s ARM objectives, and we look forward to future collaboration
