Current Version: 5.3 (released April 2008) • Available for download: www.csbs.org • Enhancements/Updates: • There have been five updates since the release of 5.3. • Updates were for the Call report changes implemented. • Also include corrections to the Compliance Workpaper templates. • Past Due and No Accrual loans/Gross Loans in GENESYS incorrect. • ROE pages corrected. • GENESYS 5.3 is not compatible with Office 2007.

GENESYS 5.4 • Project began April 2008. • Off-site Testing occurred in Feb/Mar 2009. • Identified issues related to Office 2007 that involved the rep/sync with Office 2003. • Second round of testing June 2009 • States that participated in testing: CA. KY, ND, UT • Still experiencing Office 2007 issues with rep/sync. • Release planned for July 2009. • Will be compatible with Office 2003, Office 2007 XP and Vista.

  4. Future plans for GENESYS • Plan to build version that pulls information from the Central Data Repository (CDR). • Redesign process in 2010. • Work with FDIC and FRS.

ALERT 3.2 • What’s coming: ALERT modernization project • Revamp of system: • Retain current functionality • Utilize functionality of the LPAT add-on that is currently being used • Upgrade to new and current technology • Ability to build upon previous examination findings • Update/Customization of query capabilities • Ability to electronically complete line sheets • Provide additional types of line sheets based on scope • Support comparative analysis • Schedule: • Stakeholder Meetings: on hold • Design Phase: on hold • UAT: on hold • Implementation/Training: on hold

  9. Status: • UAT: July 7 – 11, 2008 • FDIC • States: GA, NY, IN, and PA • Implementation: on hold due to issues during 2008 testing. • Exams in the current system will migrate forward. • States should continue uploading examinations.

Current Upload Process: • Upload GENESYS exam complete file • Upload ROE document, if prepared outside of GENESYS • IER memo dated 4/22/09 • Effective 4/27/09 • If State Banking Department uses GENESYS and has scanning capability, scan ROE into a PDF, submit using the Extranet. • If State Banking Department uses GENESYS and does not have scanning capability submit through the Extranet and submit signed hard copy of ROE to the appropriate FDIC regional office. • If agency does not use GENESYS still scan ROE or submit through the Extranet.
