  3. Sheep!!!!! • Over 7.8 million sheep in the U.S. • Provide average of 1.7 lbs. meat and 0.8 lbs. of wool per person • Raised where other animals cannot be (climate or food availability)

  4. Sheep!!!!! • Efficient in converting feed to meat • Different breed for different purposes

  5. Goats!!!! • Low importance economically • Prefer to eat twigs and leaves • Mohair is hair taken from angora goats and is used to make a wooly fabric
