The Holy Quran • Quran is a Holy Book gifted to the people of earth by Allah through his last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim) • Neither any holy book, nor any prophet will be sent to earth by Allah after the Holy book Quran and Hazrat Muhammad (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim) • Quran has complete code of life for the human beings living in this world, it is not for the Muslims only. • I swear to God if any body of us follow this book, he /she will no need to ask any thing from any body.

Allah says in this Holy Book • “Verily, this Quran guides (humanity) to that which is most just.” • ““… A Book which We have revealed to you that thereby you may lead mankind from the depths of darkness into light, by the leave of their Lord, to the path of the Mighty, the Owner of Praise” • “Read! In the name of your Lord who created - Created the human from something which clings. Read! And your Lord is Most Bountiful - He who taught (the use of) the Pen, Taught the human that which he knew not.”

Teachings of Quran • The Quran teaching basically categorize into two major areas, • Haqooqullah (Rights of Allah, who created us) • Believe in one God • Follow his Orders • Only ask to him if you need anything • Everything's belongs to Allah • Haqooq-ul-Ebad (Rights of Human beings) • Rights of Parents • Rights Neighbors • Rights of Orphans • Rights of Relatives • Etc

  11. Mission of a Prophet(PBUH) To lay down: • Framework of belief • Mode of worship • Moral code • Rules of culture and civilization In fact to prescribe whole system of thought and action (Al-Deen), which includes all aspects of life.

Benefits of certain Surahs and Ayahs • Surah Fatiha is a cure from every illness. • Do not make your home a graveyard, the Shaitan runs from the home in which Surah Baqrah is recit Whoever memorized the first ten ayahs of Surah Kahf will be saved from Dajjal. • Whoever reads Surah Yaseen for the pleasure of Allah, his past sins are forgiven. • Reading Surah Ikhlas is equal to reading one third of the Quran. • Whoever read Ayatul Kursi after every Fard Salah, he will be under the protection and security of Allah • Whatever task begun with Bismillahi Rahamni Raheen is completed and finished.

Benefits of reciting the Quran • Reading and reflecting over the Qur’an fulfils an Islamic duty. • The Qur’an will be a proof for us on the Day of Judgment. • The Qur’an will intercede for us on the Day of Judgment. • Your status in this life will be raised. • You will be from the best of the people. • There are ten rewards for each letter you recite from the Qur’an.

  15. Benefits of reciting the Quran Cont’d • The reciters of the Qur’an will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. • Your position in Paradise is determined by the amount of Qur’an you memorize in this life! • The Qur’an will lead you to Paradise!

Miracles of Quran • That the Quran is truly the word of God, that is because this miraculous pattern could not be duplicated by any human. • It consists of clear verses (Ayat bayyinat) which are clear and obvious signs indicating Allah’s unique unity, the perfection of His attributes, and the goodness of His laws. • That the Quran has been preserved for 14 centuries, without any loss of original text.

Relationship Between the Quran and Modern Science • Modern scientific theory today finds itself quite close to the Quran. • Science has not been able to produce theories or experiments that fundamentally contradict the Quran. • The remarkable harmony between the Quran and science is due to the presence in the Quran itself of very clear and positive encouragement to contemplate and investigate the world around us. • Allah has not forbidden man to question, and in fact, it seems He wants us to do so.

  18. Quran and science • Our atmosphere is made up of seven layers • Each individual's fingertips are absolutely unique. • Shape of the earth is spherical. • Every thing made in pairs. • Moon light is a reflected light.

  19. Sayings of Muhammad(PBUH) • The best of you is he who learnt the Holy Quran and taught it to others. • Whoever read the Quran and memorized it and belived its' Halal to be Halal and its Haram to be Haram Allah will accept the intercession for such 10 people on from him whom Hell had already become Wajib. • Decorate the Quran with your (good) voices.

  20. To receive and experience Gods attributes The aims of the Quran are to provide a barrier against the appetites of man thus encouraging him to engage in higher pursuits, giving satisfaction to his higher aspirations and directing him towards the achievements of human perfection.”
