  2. Role of District School Board (DSB) • Required to: • Establish a SEAC • Provide opportunity for SEAC to be heard • Obtain advice from SEAC • Provide information and orientation • Make available personnel and facilities

  3. Provide SEAC an opportunity to participate in the board’s annual review of its special education plan (Reg. 306) Provide opportunity to review the board’s annual budget process and financial statements of the boards District School Board (continued)

  4. Special Education Plan • The board’s Special Education Plan must describe the consultation process and include the following material: • a description of any majority or minority reports concerning the board’s approved plan that has been received from members of the board’s SEAC; and • the board’s response to these reports.
