  2. The Arc De Triomphe Facts 1.A legacy of Napoleon’s victory in World War One. 2.A memorial for soldiers who died during World War One. 3.It took from 1806 to 1836 to finish building it. That’s 30 years! 4.It is 49 meters high, 45 meters wide, and 22 meters deep. 5.The names of 128 battles fought by the French Republic and Napoleon are written on the walls under the vault alongside the names of the general who fought them. 6. On November 11, 1920, an unknown soldier was buried under the Arc de Triomphe , representing 1,500,000 French soldiers who died in World War One.

  3. I had a great and fun time building my 3d model of the Arc de Triomphe. At first I thought It was going to be difficult, but it actually turned out fun!
