  1. Lessons in 2011-2012

  2. We learned in science that Jupiter has a red dot and the dot is a storm, and space is a never ending place! We also have an air bubble around our planet that protects us.

  3. We have learned in Social Studies about the Boston Tea Party. American Patriots dressed up as Mohawk Indians, then they dumped the tea into the Boston Harbor

  4. In Science we learned about Microscopes. Robert Hooke invented the Microscope many years ago. We also made a book about him!

  5. You may be thinking “Who is Mary Hays?” Well, she is the famous Molly Pitcher! She ran through the battlefield holding pitchers for the solders. That is why they call her Molly Pitcher!

  6. The Asteroid belt is just space junk. There are rocks and things that astronauts leave behind on their trips. In Computers we drew a picture about the solar system and there was an asteroid belt there too!

  7. Taxes in colonial time were the worst thing anybody could dream of! Everybody except for the rich had to pay the taxes, The poor were very upset that King George made them.

  8. In reading we learned about someone important, James Forten. He was a young and brave man to go in the war.
