3. About the Network • Funded by the Food Stamp program and gifts. • Administered by UW-Extension. • Organizes nutrition education campaigns. • Promotes healthy eating to Wisconsin FoodShare recipients and applicants. • Encourages collaboration among agencies at the local level.

4. Campaign Objective • To promote physical activity and healthy eating habits, consistent with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, to Wisconsin FoodShare recipients and applicants.

5. Target Audience • Wisconsin FoodShare recipients and applicants. • Materials are available for the following age groups: • Older adults • Adults 18-64 without children • Families with children • Pregnant women • Youth ages 12-17 • Children ages 8-11

7. Campaign 2006 Timeline • October 27, 2005 – Training teleconference • Friday, November 18 – Materials orders due • December/January – Materials orders ready • January – August, 2006 – Campaign activities • August 31, 2006 – Evaluations due

8. A Walk Through the Website • Materials now organized by topic and by age group. • Fewer clicks to find what you want. • Online forms eliminate mail and faxes.
