    17. Sports can Contribute to Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Social and Spiritual growth

    18. Sports gives a Gospel Platform for the athlete /coach

    19. SPORTS AND RECREATION ARE PRACTICALLY EXPEDIENT

(Church planting/Church Growth tool) Sports can keep people from drifting away from the Church Sports creates an “entry level” of service for the new believer or the new member

Sports provides a place for Leadership Development Sports gives some opportunity to hear God’s call on their life for full time service A well run sports ministry is cost-effective- it can defray many costs
