  3. USPS Updates/Reminders • Move Update • Effective Date November 23, 2008. • Frequency change from 185 to 95 days. • Applies to Standard Mail. • Customer has to update addresses with the information provided. • State Mail received a Legal Restraint Method exemption.

USPS Updates/Reminders • New format standard for ‘Flats’. • Effective Date March 29, 2009. • Address block placement. • 8 pt font and no overlapping lines or characters. • State Mail has posted a Customer Notice with all the details. USPS Updates/Reminders • Intelligent Mail Barcode • Effective Date May 2011 (changed from May 2009 and January 2009). • Starting May 2009 additional postage discounts, over Basic IMB and PostNet customers, available for Full-Service IMB customers. • State Mail has certified their IMB and will work towards Full-Service status.

  6. USPS Updates/Reminders • PostNet Barcodes • Effective Date May 2011. • Will no longer be accepted after May 2011. • Will be accepted from May 2009 until May 2011 at a higher rate then Basic and Full-Service IMB. • State Mail will print the IMB for customers on OCR mail without ACS codes.

USPS Updates/Reminders • Intelligent Mail Barcode on Business Reply Mail. • Effective Date May 2011. • PostNet barcode on all BRM mail must be replaced with the IMB. • State Mail will do the artwork and qualification for this over the next two years. • Please contact State Mail when you are ready to order new stock.
