Building Community. Some Places to Go. Students can come on campus at 8:00 and go to the tables to eat. At 8:15 students can go to the blacktop only. At 8:30 students can go onto field. Dismissal at lunch (1,2,3 between 2/3 hall) (4,5 past upper grade bathrooms.

  2. Some Places to Go. • Students can come on campus at 8:00 and go to the tables to eat. At 8:15 students can go to the blacktop only. At 8:30 students can go onto field. • Dismissal at lunch (1,2,3 between 2/3 hall) (4,5 past upper grade bathrooms. • Counseling center is in Room 43- A great place to go for extra help.

  3. As a part of a community we have a responsibility to keep everyone safe and feeling included. Always use kind words. Bullying must be reported. Any person who witnesses an act of bullying must report the problem to the office.

  4. Students must keep hands and feet to themself No Exclusion Following rules/waiting your turn in line Careful Use of personal space No name calling Social cues (punch buggy) Paloma Playground Our playground needs to be a fun place for everyone to play.

  5. Sometimes “fun” turns to sadness.

  6. Social Cues (Does he look like he’s having fun?)

  7. Dress Code • Hats are allowed outside. • Shirt straps must be at least 2 inches wide • Shoes must stay on your feet at all times. • Positive words and statements

  8. Communication by electronics • Facebook=13 year old. • Posts are not always private. • Email can be forwarded to anyone, anywhere. • Texts should be kind words only! • Sending unwanted text can lead to a timeout at school.

  9. School Rules! • Respectful • Responsible • Problem Solver

  10. Consequences • Sometimes a consequence of misbehavior can lead to a timeout including not being able to participate in fun activities such as: • Wave • AR Assemblies • Field Day • Class activites
