  3. Introduction • By using the graphical interface System administrators and operators may configure, provision and manage the Intelligate systems remotely. • End users may provision their accounts from anywhere in the world. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS1.1

  4. Administrator Functions • By default there are 2 accesses to the system, administrator and end user. The administrator has all of the privileges while the end user may only view and modify their own information. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS1.1

User interface and Function • View basic system information and status • View basic user account configurations in the system • Make change to his/her personal setting, like display name, email address, password and etc. • Retrieve Fax images • Play, manipulate voicemails and change voicemail options. • Configure his/her own call features • View his/her call logs, billing statements and payment histories. • Make payment online using credit cards.   7. RCMM Admin Interfaces • Before you can log into the RCMM Configuration Manager, you need to know your IntelliGate product IP address or host name. You also need to have a Windows PC for accessing the web pages on your IntelliGate product. The PC should have an Internet Explorer version 5.0 and above. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.0

  8. Login to RCMM Configuration Manager • After you have logged in you will be at the managed device page (Main Menu) • It displays: • Host Name • Serial Number • Software revision • And several other fields Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.1

System Configuration Menu • Clicking on System Config on the left navigation bar, you should be able to see a sub-menu with several options, like Firewall, Billing Config, Rate Table, SIP Configs and IAX Configs to choose from. Clicking on System Config, it will default you to Firewall Configuration (step one) Page. Select the desired device, and then click on Next; it will bring you to Firewall Configuration (step two).   10. Firewall Configuration • The IntelliGate product could run behind of your firewall/NAT or directly connected to the Internet. Security is the most important issue. Vidanetwork has implemented many security methods at various system levels. To further secure the product, we also provide a lightweight firewall engine to protect most of the vulnerable ports while giving the administrators some flexibility to do their own configurations. Billing System Configuration • RCMM manager allows you, as a service provider, to customize the billing system by displaying your own company name, Email address, service hot-line phone number, mailing address and your own company logo. At the installation, a default logo is provided. You can always change it at anytime. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.2

  12. Primary Rate Table • The service provider may set the base toll charge rates for all possible phone calls. • By clicking on the System Config menu, • Rate Table, • You will see all those rates already defined in the table. • Click Add NEW RATE Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.2.1

  13. Primary Rate Table • When specifying the dial pattern use ‘X’ to match digits 0 to 9, ‘Z’ to match digits 1-9, ‘N’ to match digits 2 to 9, [n-m] to match digits from n to m, and a dot (‘.’) to match any patterns. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.2

Billing Plan • A Billing Plan may be built on top of the Primary rate table without making changes to the Primary. • The administrator may Select multiple billing rates from primary and then apply discounts, or free minutes. • Define new monthly service fee • Connection fee • Late fees • And tax rates • It also supports different currencies • Using the discount rate as the converter.   15. Billing Plan • To insert rates into a billing plan, click on the Rates link (2.3.2.2) next to the billing plan. • From the predefined Primary Rate table select the rates that will be used for the billing plan. Just check a box Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.2.2

Billing Plan Examples • Step 1, Create a plan: • Name: Flat-500 • Free Minutes:500 • Service charge: 29.99 • Fill in the rest of the fields and click Add. • Step 2, Insert the rates from Primary table for free minutes • Click on Rates beside the Billing Plan • Select the rates defined for calls for USA and Canada • Click Apply rates to Billing Plan • Now you may use (select) this plan for end users or gateway accounts.   17. Example 1 • When you click on Billing Plan and see the fields, the list of already created Billing Plans will appear at the bottom of the screen. Look just above Add new billing plan. Click Rates to pull from the Primary table. Then check the boxes that apply to this Billing Plan. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.2.3.1

Example 2 • Create a billing plan and put ‘10’ in the Discount to Primary Rates field. • Change the Rounding to ‘6’ and click on the Add button at the bottom of the screen. • Click on the Rates link beside the billing plan. • Select billing rates defined for those countries • Click on Apply Billing Rates to Billing Plan button. • Now you may apply this billing plan to your end users or gateway accounts Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.2.3.2

  19. SIP Configuration and Setup • Click on the System Config, • SIP Configs, you will get the SIP Config (step one) page. Select the particular device that is of your interest, then click continue • Fill the fields and click add to confirm the SIP Device configuration Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.3

  20. IAX Configuration and Setup • Start with System Configuration • Click IAX Configs • Select the gateway • Click Continue • Fill in the fields and Click Add Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.4

  21. Gateway Connection Configuration • Gateway • Add new gateway • Select device and continue • Fill in this screen and click Add at the bottom of the page Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.3.5

Virtual PBX (IP Centrex) • From the Main Menu Click Gateways/PBX • Click Virtual PBX to see a list of configured PBXes • Click Add new Virtual PBX • Select device and Continue • If you don’t get to a configuration screen call for assistance.   24. Basic Information • The Device Serial No and Billing Plan are automatic populated according to the selection in the previous page. You need to specify the following fields: • Account Number: for billing purpose • Main Access Number or DID: The main access numbers of ISDN PRI DID numbers of the PBX. When these numbers are dialed, the PBX IVR voice prompts will be played. • Password: the PBX administrators’ password. This password will be used when recording the voice prompts, or making changes to the PBX settings. • PBX Name: the name of the PBX • Voicemail and Email Address: if the voicemail is enabled the Email Address will be used for voicemail notification. • PBX Prefix: the prefix of the virtual PBX. • Extension Format: defines the number of extensions of the PBX. Use “X” as a wild card to match any of the digit. • Voice prompts: enter the names of the voice prompts for holiday, daytime and night. • Voice Prompt Recording: Enter the extension for recording the voice prompts. Default value is 1700. The PBX administrator could dial this extension to record PBX voice prompts. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.6

  25. Call Center Queues • There are two ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) queues defined for each Virtual PBX. When the PBX’s main access number or DID is called, the caller will hear an IVR voice prompt like this: “Welcome to John Doe’s company. If you know your party’s extension, you may dial it now. For sales, please press 1, for support, please press 2, or press star (*) for directory lookup. Thank you!” When 1 or 2 is pressed, the caller will be routed the corresponding ACD queue. The caller will hear the waiting time announcement and music on hold. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.6

  26. Call Routing Rules • Call routing rules will be automatically generated whenever you add a Virtual PBX or a gateway connection. Each call routing rule resides on the certain device (IntelliGate), has a context as its routing scope, dial pattern for triggering the rule, function name of the application, protocol, actual string to dial, prefix/PBX to append to the dialing string and an account number for billing purpose.   32. Edit User-SIP • Click the EDIT button beside a user’s account • Fields that may NOT be changed are • Account number • Phone number • Technology • Context Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.6.2

  33. Delete User • Click the DEL button by the user account • The Admin account may NOT be deleted. • The billing statements/payment records will NOT be deleted and may be used again when the user is added back into the system. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.6.3

  34. Calling Cards • Click on Calling Cards • This is a pre-pay account • Users may use PSTN, SIP or IAX • Minutes are announced before call is allowed • Access is permitted by pin • You must “enable” for card to work. • Red X means not “enabled”! Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.7

Calling card PINS and PINless entry usage • Each card has 10 digit phone (PIN) number and serial number • Serial number consists of 2 sets of numbers • The Plan code and the card sequence number. • For a user to setup the PIN skipping function they should add a 1 to the PIN number. • The system will recognize the number they are calling from and will let them skip the PIN. The user may use the PIN from any other phone number • The system will detach the PINless number if a 4 is added from any other phone number. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.7.1

  36. Add Calling Card accounts • Click add multiple calling cards • The device selection page will show up • Select the device and technology/protocol • Click Next • Fill in the page • The starting balance is the value of the card • The account numbers are randomly generated by the system • The account numbers are also the Password/PIN for PSTN users Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.7.2

  39. Generate Calling Card Accounts • Fill in the page • The technology/card type you choose will change the fields that you have to fill in. • Click Add Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.7.2

Using Calling Card accounts • The Public Switching Telephone Network (PSTN)calling card user must use the access numbers to make a call • The system prompts the user to enter a password and then allows the call. • The number of minutes will be announced before the connection is made. • When the account balance reaches zero (0) the call will terminate.   41. Edit a calling card • Click the Edit button next to the calling card user. • You may change the account balance here but, SHOULD NOT! • To track payments in the system, enter all payments through the payment screen. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.7.3

  42. Conference management • Click on the Conference option in the left navigation bar • Every conference is assigned an account number, host PIN and participant PIN Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.net S2.8

Conference Screen • The first column shows the status green is good = configured and ready to go • Red cross means there might be a problem with the configuration or the conference has not been assigned to a conference room (or temporarily disabled) • You may assign a conference access number for local SIP or Gateway users • They may lift their phone dial this number and use the conference service Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.8

  44. Use the conference function • One user must be the host. They must dial in and enter the PIN to activate the conference • Conference will not allow others in until host begins the conference • Participants may listen and talk • Guests may only listen* *Guest Function not active yet. Create a New Conference • Enter a unique Host PIN (30000-99999) • Enter a Unique Participant Pin (30000-99999) after the host activates the call, • all other participants have to enter this PIN to join the conference • Click the Create a new conference link • Select the gateway • Click next • Enter the account number which is unique to the client for billing purposes Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.8.1

Create a New Conference 2 • The Guest Pin start time and end time are not implemented in this release • Assign an available room number. • If no room is assigned, or if room disabled the conference is disabled! • Click ADD to add the conference into the system.   47. Edit an Existing Conference • From Conference main page Click Edit • To disable type none as the room number and save Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.8.2

  48. Delete an existing conference • In the main Conference page click DEL next to the conference that you wish to delete • Click CONFIRM DELETION to confirm Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.8.3

  49. Billing and Accounting System • The system will generate bills in multiple languages. There are also system tools to help service providers search, sort user accounts, call detail records, statements and payments. • The billing system generates online bills for pre-pay, post-pay and monthly-pay users and gateway termination users. It also monitors the account balance and manages phone calls made by calling card users. Payments will be tracked every month and recorded into the system. Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.9

  50. Billing and Accounting System-Account Balance • Click on balance in user accounts page. • Here you may enter a payment (MAKE PAYMENT) • Summary of the current balance for calling card, pre-pay or post-pay with overpay in account • If the balance is negative it is a post-pay account • If account is zero user has no balance or calling card is out of $ Online 2000, Incwww.online2k.netS2.9.1
