  2. Societatea geto - daca • Geto-dacii reprezinta ramura nordica a tracilor, care traiau in spatiulcarpato-danubiano-pontic. Originea lor este indo-europeana, iar civilizatia lor se incadreaza arheologic in epoca fierului. Ei sunt numiti "geti" in izvoarele grecesti iar in cele latine "daci", primul care foloseste acest termen fiind Caesar.

  3. Societatea geto - daca • In secolele 1 i.Hr. si 1 d.Hr., societatea geto-dacica a cunoscut o perioada de apogeu. Statul dac a fost creat in anul 82 i.Hr. de catre Burebista, ajutat de Deceneu. Mijloacele folosite de Burebista au fost diplomatice (unirea unor triburi) si militare (au loc confruntari cu celtii, bastarnii si cetatilegrecesti).
