DEFINICIÓN DEL PROBLEMA Se ha tomado entonces como supuesto que gran parte de los estudiantes de la Institución no han desarrollado estructuras mentales propias del pensamiento formal, lo que produce en ellos una serie de dificultades que inhiben el aprendizaje, y como consecuencia los conocimientos adquiridos se olvidan fácilmente y no pueden ser aplicados en la solución de ciertas tareas, por lo tanto es necesario realizar actividades de aprendizaje que desarrollen las habilidades metacognitivas de carácter colaborativo donde puedan por medio de la interacción construir saber, aplicar sus conocimiento y posibilitar soluciones tangibles y apropiadas tanto para las problemáticas académicas como para aquellas individuales, familiares y sociales. Otro punto vital es mejorar los resultados en las diversas pruebas que realiza el estado y las universidades para posibilitar el ingreso a niveles de educación superior.
