ABOUT PIETER BRUEGEL • Pieter Bruegel was born in 1525 • He was one of the greatest painters in northern Europe • Was popular for his paintings of the Flemish Peasants • Had travel to Italy to Become greater at his skills • Was a master in Antwerp • His whole family was a barraged of artists • He died in the year 1569

  3. HIS ARTSTYLES • He loved to paint peasants, scenery, and BIG crowd scenes • Used live and rich colors • All his paintings had a message to it • Painted this style because he liked the life of a peasant • Wanted to live like a peasant, instead of a large merchant
