  2. Response to 802.11 comments on 802.15.6 PAR change Response to doc. 11-11-1530-02-0000-comments-for-nov-2011-ec-par-proposals Arthur Astrin (Astrin Radio)

  3. Three questions were asked • Please expand on the use case whether it be wired or wireless. • Is this a use case? Internal body monitoring via capacitive paddles.. i.e. internal organ or body functions • What part is wireless communication? • 2.1 There are lots of “bodies” in this world, be specific: • human, celestial, heavenly, animal, aircraft? • 8.1 indicates that you should list the "Item Number and Explanation". from the instructions when you filled in the Modified PAR form: "If any changes have been made to the Title, Scope or Purpose, please explain why. If you know of any further information that may assist NesCom in recommending approval for this project, please include this information here." Arthur Astrin (Astrin Radio)

  4. Question 1 • Please expand on the use case whether it be wired or wireless. • Is this a use case? Internal body monitoring via capacitive paddles.. i.e. internal organ or body functions • What part is wireless communication? • Response: All of it is wireless, since no wires are involved in enabling communication Arthur Astrin (Astrin Radio)

  5. Question 2 • 2.1 There are lots of “bodies” in this world, be specific: • human, celestial, heavenly, animal, aircraft? • Response: Body Area Network is a commonly used term. There conferences, books and articles using this term: Arthur Astrin (Astrin Radio)

  9. Question 3 8.1 indicates that you should list the "Item Number and Explanation". from the instructions when you filled in the Modified PAR form: "If any changes have been made to the Title, Scope or Purpose, please explain why. If you know of any further information that may assist NesCom in recommending approval for this project, please include this information here." Response: The legacy title that was lengthy, confusing and difficult for interested parties to easily understand scope of the standard. The new title succinctly captures the content of the standard using a term commonly used in the industry. Arthur Astrin (Astrin Radio)
