  4. 2. The Somalia Urban Sector Profile Study 2002 • In 2002 UN-HABITAT carried out an Urban Sector Profile Study (USPS) • Strategize framework interventions in the urban sector • Strategy includes two complementary components: • Urban Governance (GLTP) • Urban Management (SPAUS)

The Good Local Governance and Leadership Training Programme (GLTP) • Training of Trainers of three Somali regions • Translation of training materials and adaptation to local context • Trainings of local leaders on leadership skills, participatory planning and gender • Awareness raising activities
