  2. Unit Summary • Students will take the runs scored by the little master Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar in the test cricket match played during the year 2010 and then find the average runs scored during the year 2010.They will apply this concept of average in other day to day life.

  3. Curriculum Framing Questions( CFQ ) • Essential Questions How can we compare between two students in securing marks in different exams ? • Unit Questions How can understanding average makes life easier ? • Content Questions What is average ? A daily wager's monthly income is Rs 2700. What is his/her daily income ?

  4. Vision for Unit • By creating this unit, I want to Try to find the curiosity among the students to compare between to things. Try to find out the formula to find the averages.

  5. Project Approaches • As my students work on this projects they establish a connection with averages.

  6. Requests For Feedback • Need innovative ways to help students to understand the concept of averages. • Need help assessing students higher order thinking skills.
