People have money to spend.   They just need to believe that the offering is worth the investment.

  10. Global Appeal • Many countries around the world have unstable economies – network marketing offers a global financial solution (especially for women). • Other business models (franchise, traditional) require major $$$ to get started, no profits returned for years. • Start-up costs are low for network marketing (under $500)-no barrier to entry.

Less "skin in the game" = easier to quit when disappointed Shutdown #1: People you are certain will be your best prospects have no interest in what you have to offer. Shutdown #2: You are certain that a new team member you just sponsored is going to be a big business builder. They’re very excited and talk about plans to build a huge team. Suddenly they disappear and won’t even return your calls. Shutdown #3: You will hit plateaus as you build your team. (Kody Bateman, MLM Blueprint) Understand the law of averages!

  20. 8 Success Factors in MLM #8. Be responsible and do whatever is necessary to take care of your basic needs while you are building your business, so desperation does not creep in. Desperation kills opportunity!

  21. When can I quit my day job? Network marketing is designed to be worked as a part-time business until you get it going. Remain gainfully employed until you can meet these four conditions: • You are covering your business expenses, including your own product purchase, personal development costs, and travel to team and company events. • For at least six consecutive months, you have generated enough income from your MLM business to meet the basic needs of you and your dependents. • You have paid off all debt (exception: affordable mortgage on your home). • You have enough cash reserves to support you and your dependents for at least six months in the event that something unforeseen happened.

  22. Would you rather … • Do 40 years of hard labor to help your boss be rich, OR create your own residual income? • Set a daily alarm and drag yourself to work when you’re still tired, OR wake up whenever you’ve had enough sleep? • Have someone else tell you how much money you can earn, OR decide how hard you choose to work and how much you’ll earn? • Have limited time with family and friends, OR enjoy the freedom to do what you want, when you want, where you want & with whom you want? • Toil away at a job you have no passion for, OR do whatyou love? • Have a few weeks of vacation a year on someone else’s schedule, OR vacation whenever, wherever and however often you want?

  23. Path to Freedom • Design your schedule and activities according to what makes your heart sing. • The WHAT and HOW of running your business is built into the network marketing model. • You have incredible freedom withWHEN, WHERE, & WITH WHOM youbuild your business. “Always be a first-rate version of yourself instead of a second-rate version of someone else.” -Judy Garland

  24. “My boldest dream is to free millions of people from a life of limitation, helping them to achieve financial and lifestyle freedom while sharing their gifts and talents in a way that makes their heart sing.” -Kathy Paauw Path to Freedom
