  2. What is HEAL 22? The New York State Department of Health- Office of the Health and Information Technology Transformation (OHITT) has contracted with Regional Extension Centers (RECs) to provide electronic health record (EHR) implementation support and adoption services to mental health and behavioral health providers participating in the Medicaid Health Home program. Program Duration: June 1, 2012 to October 31, 2013

HEAL 22 Health Home Participation Funding • Requirements • Must have signed contract with Health Home • Must sign HEAL 22 Agreements • Must attest to Phase 2 that all employees utilize a Cerified EMR • Clinical and administrative workflow analysis and redesign; • Project management services for EHR implementation and effective utilization; • Provider and staff EHR/HIE training related to effective utilization of the EHR, including any required workflow redesign identified; • d. ePrescribingfunctionality as needed; and • Phase 3 signup to RHIO
