  1. AKA Scramble Thru The Woods It’s nearly time for the 11TH Annual Torrey Pines Golf Outing. Who should play? Everyone! This golf outing is for beginners and experienced golfers; ladies and gentlemen. All Torrey Pines residents are welcome. Where and When: The outing will be Saturday, September 12 at Hickory Woods Golf Course. The first tee time will be around 12:30 but plan on arriving early for instructions and warm-ups. Getting loose can help avoid injuries unless it causes injuries. The Cost: The cost for the outing is $50 per person. This includes greens fees and cart ($40) and prizes. The Format:. As usual, the outing will be a four player scramble. There will be contests for lowest team score, closest to the pin, longest drive, etc... Prizes will be distributed randomly, as in the past. Team’s: You can sign up for the tournament as a four player team, a pair, or an individual. Pairs and individuals will be combined into teams.

  2. The 19TH Hole: After the round, golfers and their families are invited to Brad and Laura Dominique’s house for a cookout and beverages. Prizes will be awarded and we can begin plans for next year’s outing. Meat will be provided at the cookout, but let Laura know if you would like to bring a side dish, appetizer or desert to share. This year I am asking everyone to bring their own beverages. This way everyone gets what they want, there is more money for prizes, and I have one less thing to do. Registration: Hickory Woods is flexible about the number of foursomes we have, but we have to get them an accurate count prior to the outing date. You need to register and make payment by August 31 if you want to join in. To register please make payment to Brad Dominique and let him know if you are registering as a pair, team, or individual.
