  32. Reasons to Provide • Electronic Offering Cards: • The card can be placed in the offering in lieu of an envelope. • The symbolic act of giving is an important part of stewardship and worship. • Many members feel the need to place their gift in the basket as it passes them. Others may want this to be part of their witness to others. • The cards help to bring awareness of electronic giving to other members. Members may ask each other about electronic giving when they see the cards used.

  33. “We have been using Vanco's electronic funds transfer capability since 2003. Signing up donors, editing changes, and printing reports on-line using their website is intuitive and easy. We are very pleased with Vanco's performance and expect to be one of their customers for many years to come.” Pacific Beach United Methodist Church San Diego, CA “…their website is intuitive and easy.”

  34. “We have been using Vanco for about a year. We have many people who vacation in the South in the Winter and others that go North in the Summer. This EFT service has greatly helped our cash flow of donations. We have had absolutely no problems with the service. It is simple to use and the service from the Vanco people has been wonderful. If I can help you with forms or ideas, let me know. There is no reason that you would not begin an EFT service for your church members. I would very much recommend the Vanco people and their services.” United Methodist Church Wheaton Wheaton, IL “…simple to use and the service from the Vanco people has been wonderful. ”

  35. “Greene Street United Methodist Church and the Greene Street Preschool have been using Vanco Services for several years. We have found the staff to be extremely patient with our questions and establishing the accounts nearly effortless. We are using credit card processing, debit deposits, and direct deposit of payroll. The process has been error free and solid from the very beginning. Vanco has been willing to process minimal requests, never commenting on our slow start.” Greene Street United Methodist Church Piqua, Ohio “…process has been error free and solid from the very beginning. ”

  36. “The EFT service was very easy to customize to our existing contribution programs and it provides a secure and timely means of contributing to the church. As we encourage each person to donate a portion of their gifts back to God, the EFT program helps by allowing each person to schedule the frequency of their donations as their income allows. Since we started using Vanco’s programs, our church’s income has been more consistent week to week and the percentage of actual vs. pledged income is the highest it has ever been! ...with Vanco’s help, we are fostering a change in the way our congregation sees the relationship between them, their offerings, and their use in God’s church.” Broadway United Methodist Church Chicago, IL “…income has been more consistent week to week and the percentage of actual vs. pledged income is the highest it has ever been!”
