    1. Let me also welcome all of you to our 2008 analyst meeting. Our goal over the next 2 days is to immerse you in Harris technology and our many capabilities, so that you will better understand how well we are positioned to capitalize on a number of important market trends that are already underway. We hope that you will engage us in a dialog that will help you appreciate the diverse capabilities and strengths of our company. Let me also welcome all of you to our 2008 analyst meeting. Our goal over the next 2 days is to immerse you in Harris technology and our many capabilities, so that you will better understand how well we are positioned to capitalize on a number of important market trends that are already underway. What We Do Over $5.4 billion in sales in FY 08 Four business segments serving customers in more than 150 countries Serving agencies and departments of the U.S. government for more than 50 years Government Communications Systems Division conducts advanced research studies; designs, develops and supports state-of-the-art communications and information networks and equipment; plays a key role in developing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance solutions; designs and supports information systems for image and other data collection, processing, interpretation, storage and retrieval; and offers engineering, operations and support services. Broadcast Communications Harris video servers, routers, test and measurement equipment, multi-image processors, graphics and master control systems, and new workflow software are helping global media customers manage the complex transition to digital and high-definition (HD) content, while ensuring outstanding signal and picture quality. Harris Stratex Networks Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. was formed on January 26, 2007, through the combination of our former Microwave Communications segment and Stratex Networks, Inc., a leading international wireless transmission systems supplier. As they come together, these two organizations now have the scale economies, product-line breadth, and global reach to profitably grow and effectively serve this attractive global market. Harris Stratex provides end-to-end wireless transmission and network management solutions for mobile and fixed-wireless service providers and private network customers in over 135 countries.
