  4. Biases, Prejudices, and Discrimination Problems within the “building” • Hurting someone • Physically (hitting, kicking,etc.) • Emotionally (name calling, teasing, put downs, etc.) • Stealing or damaging other people’s things • Who do you talk to about bullying?

  5. Analysis and Synthesis of the problem Negative behaviors occurring: • Teasing • Making fun of a person for his/her differences • Name calling • Put downs Why negative behaviors must stop: • Harmful to students • School should be a safe place • Goes against school policy • Consequences
