DEBORAH O'FLAHERTY - CHILD WELFARE PROFESSIONAL Deborah O’Flaherty is currently a Child Welfare Professional, someone who seeks to provide the best assistance possible to those families in the most need. She has considerable experience in the handling of childcare programs, public relations and operational management, as well as the ability to adequately assess and formulate policies while providing overall program direction. She is currently in possession of a Child Welfare Provisional Certification (CWP).

  2. Certified Child Welfare Protective Investigator (CWPI) Deborah O’Flaherty enjoys the opportunity to provide assistance to both families and children in need. Currently a Certified Child Welfare Protective Investigator (CWPI), O’Flaherty is an authorized agent of the Florida Department of Children and Families, someone who investigates reports of child abuse, abandonment and neglect. O’Flaherty works to gather information, and to apply sophisticated critical thinking, CWP Deborah O’Flaherty is proud to currently possess a Child Welfare Provisional Certification (CWP), a mark of initial competency that effectively demonstrates the certified individual to have completed all formal education, testing and training requirements, to be presently employed in a position that necessitates a child welfare certification, to have agreed to the conditions and terms of the certification and to be currently working under, actively seeking and responding to direct supervision.

CWPI Deborah O’Flaherty is currently a Certified Child Welfare Protective Investigator (CWPI) for the Florida Child Protective Investigative Services program, working to investigate any reports of child abuse, abandonment or neglect that may come her way. A dedicated and goal-driven individual, O’Flaherty enjoys the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, and to help those who are in the most need. A Desire to Help Deborah O’Flaherty works to both protect children and to provide assistance to families in need. A skilled and experienced child protective investigator for the Florida Child Protective Investigative Services program, which falls under the purview of the Department of Children and Families, O’Flaherty works to make a positive impact on both accurate assessments of child safety, and on the creation of permanency outcomes for children who are placed under the State of Florida’s care.

Experienced Child Welfare Professional As a child protective services worker and investigator, Deborah O’Flaherty works with members of law enforcement, social service groups and other professionals to make an accurate assessment of the situation at hand, and to come to the best possible solution that will be beneficial towards the outcome of every investigation. O’Flaherty strives to find and pursue positive outcomes in each and every situation. Open Mind, Open Heart Deborah O’Flaherty is a child protective investigator for the Florida child Protective Investigative Services program, working towards providing families the resources they need to become more productive and functional family units. As O’Flaherty knows, the most important for any CPIS worker to have is both an open mind and an open heart; the ability to sympathize with and help families as effectively as possible.
