  6. What is FBLA? Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a national organization for all students currently enrolled in at least one business course in high school. The local chapters consist of young men and women enrolled in business programs, organized and officially chartered in accordance with the guiding principles of FBLA/PBL, Incorporated.

  7. (continued) State chapters are composed of local FBLA chapters within the state. Delegates representing local chapters meet several times a year to plan the state chapter’s activities, transact the business of the state chapter, and review the program of work carried on by the organization.

  11. FBLA Regional Competition • This competition is held in February. The state is divided into three regions; South, Central and North. The top fourteen students in each event compete at the state conference.

  14. FBLA State Competition • All winners from the region competition compete at the state level over a two day event. The first place winners get an all expenses paid trip to Nationals. In selected competitions the second winners also go to Nationals.
