  7. J. Evidence Testing

  8. 1. Definition: ET is Satan’s cross‑examination of every witness presented by God in the historical appeal trial of Satan and all fallen angels.

  9. Man's thoughts, motives, decisions, and actions are entered as evidence, exhibits, precedents, and arguments in Satan’s appeal trial.

  10. Every believer who attains maturity, is an argument or witness for the prosecution (God) against Satan and the Fallen Angels.

  11. a. Definition of Angelic Conflict:

  12. 1) Satan learned in eternity past that he could not attack the sovereignty of God (Isa 14:13-14), which is incorruptible, so he attacked the volition of other creatures.

  13. Satan’s first assault was on angelic creation, where he led a rebellion of independence against God, Rev 12:4.

  14. When all angels had made their decisions for God or for Satan, the first of two trials was convened in heaven.

  15. As a result of the first trial, Satan and those who stayed in rebellion were sentenced to the Eternal Lake of Fire, Mat 25:41.

  16. Satan then appealed the sentencing and therefore a second or “appeal” trial was convened, and mankind was created to resolve the prehistoric Angelic Conflict.

  17. 2) The Appeal Trial. Between the sentencing in eternity past and its execution at the end of the Millennium, Rev 20:1-3, 7-10, an appeal trial is occurring in human history.

  18. Therefore, human history is the appeal trial of Satan and his fallen angels, the actual function of that trial, and mankind was created to resolve that trial.

  19. 3) Six parts to the Appeal Trial:

  20. a) Formal Appeal which took place during OT history. The Garden represented heaven before the fall and OT history represents angelic rebellion.

  21. b) Rebuttal Phase of the Prosecution - our Lord’s First Advent and the Church Age.

  22. c) Rebuttal Phase of Satan – the Tribulation. All of Satan's rebuttal arguments come in the form of violence and anti-Semitism.

  23. d) The closing arguments and summary of the Prosecution - 2nd Advent and the millennial rule of Christ.

  24. e) Satan's closing argument is the Gog revolution at the end of the Millennium.

  25. f) Final sentencing occurs just after the Gog revolution.

  47. 4) Why an appeal trial? To demonstrate the perfection of Divine justice and the fairness of God's sentence to all fallen angels.

  48. God has duplicated in human history everything that Satan and the fallen angels used as objections in the original trial, including suffering.

  49. Job proved that his love and loyalty to the Lord was because of Bible Doctrine resident within his soul, not because of blessing.

  50. It demonstrated the power of Bible Doctrine and the fantastic ability from God’s Word to have great happiness under every circumstance of life.
