  1. Method of Assembling and Collecting Electrodes Electrostatic precipitator, also called electrostatic air cleaner is a device that uses an electric charge to eliminate specific impurities. Many industrial and chemical processes produce unwanted excellent particulate material as a result of their operation. With the help of electrostatic precipitation, these particulates can be effectively removed. To limit particulate emissions, these devices are widely used in many industries. Precipitators work by charging particles electro statically in the gas flow. Precipitators are commonly seen in denitrification components that remove nitrogen oxides. Plate Precipitators Plate related precipitators are also referred to as air filters. They are also widely used in the role of furnace filters. The precipitator comprises collecting plates or electrodes which form gas passages. The discharge electrodes are isolated electrically from these plates. Usually, they are suspended in the rows between the gas passages. High voltage power charges the electrodes so that they can form an electric field. The particulate matters in the gas also get charged with the application of force. These particulate materials are then attracted to the ground collector plate, which ultimately forms a layer of dust. Electron Generation The applied voltage is increased so that it gives rise to a corona. The free electrons discharged from the corona moves rapidly away from the negative electric field as it repulses them. The speed of the electrons is so high that they crash into gas molecules. The crash makes the gas molecules lose an electron. Due to losing an electron, the gas molecules become positively charged. Hence, the gas molecules are ionized with the freeing of electrons. Note that this activity usually takes place near to the discharge electrode. Insulators in Precipitators Electrodes located inside the precipitators have two primary functions. First, they provide insulation to high voltage power. Secondly, they also provide mechanical support to the overall electrode frame. Various types of support systems are used in precipitators. The most commonly used support system comprises insulators in addition to entrance bushings. Lifting Beam is usually installed on the top of the insulators with the electrode assembly suspended. The beam increases the overall efficiency of the support system of a precipitator.

  2. Precipitators are accessible in a wide array of sizes and varieties. Some varieties are intended to function with gas streams correctly. On the other hand, wet precipitators work with saturated airflows that have 100% relative humidity. Dewas Metal Sections Ltd. manufactures a diverse range of engineering products. From air pollution control to general engineering products, the company has proved its mettle in every domain.
