  3. Data File Formats • Admittance Records • Patient ID • Date Admitted • Patient Gender • Patient Age • Symptoms • Death Records • Patient ID • Date of Death

  4. Issues • Patient Symptoms • Stored in one column • Some have multiple values • Some are comma delimited • Others are space delimited (look like one big symptom) • Size of files, number of files • 22 files • ~1 GB of data
