Capital Improvements FY 2014 • We anticipate that the same amounts requested in FY 2103 will be requested in FY 2014. • CCJC - $ 22M • BoB Discretionary - $ 6M • Envelope/Energy - $ 15M ($ 10M, $ 5M) • Chances For Approval? (This is being held in a casino). • DFA/BoB Is Also Recommending A Four Year Bond Bill Cycle.

  3. DFA Discretionary Funds • The Good News: We Have Some. • The Bad News: We Don't Have Much, And The Funds Were Not Replenished.

  4. DFA Discretionary Funds • BoB Discretionary Funds For Agencies • Administered By Director, BoB • For Emergency Repairs • ADA Compliance • Preference Given To Projects That Prevent Further And/Or Catastrophic Damage

  5. DFA Discretionary Funds • BoB Energy Discretionary Funds • Administered By Director, BoB • For Energy Projects Only • Currently Used Only For Agencies Connecting To State-Wide Energy Reporting Program. • DFA, Capitol Facilities Is Working With IHL And MDEQ To Develop "Best Practices For Use". • The Best Practices Will Be Shared, Not Mandated.

  6. DFA Discretionary Funds • BoB Preservation Discretionary Funds • Administered by Director, BoB • For Pre-Planning Of Landmarked Buildings To Define Possible Options.

  7. DFA Discretionary Funds • BoB Discretionary Envelope Fund • Administered By Director, BoB • For Repairing Critical Roofs, Walls, And Windows. • Studies Have Been Completed. • Projects Are Beginning To Bid
