Computers • If you have not already done so, register your laptop: http://cern.ch/it-div/gencomputing/VisitorPortables.asp • How to access the Internet: • Network access sockets are available in most offices, conference rooms, and the user area in building 513. They support the DHCP protocol. • Wireless access is available in most conference rooms. The frequency bands 1, 6, and 11 are used. Set the network name (SSID) to "CERN". • If you have a CERN account, you can log in using the computers outside Users Office (close to R1)
