Body Positions • Prone – lying face down • Pronate (pronation) – rotate forearm so that palm faces down; foot rotation so that plantar surface points outward • Supine – lying face up • Supinate (supination) – rotate forearm so that palm faces up; foot rotation so that plantar surface points inward
