Meeting Agenda • Members’ presentations & Developments (Qatar Exchange, MAROCLEAR and Tadawul)) • Guests presentations (Thomas Murray, SWIFT, SGSS & others) • Covered Bonds, Development of CSDs on International Laws, Clearing, Settlement and Strategic Planning, CPSS-IOSCO Final Document. • Members Discussions ( Different Settlement Models and Management of Corporate Actions) • WFC, ISSA, Africlear, AMEDA legal Committee , SADC and ALF Report Back and Updates • AMEDA related issues.

Reviewing Previous Meeting Decisions • Members approved previous meeting minutes. • Qatar Presentation will present at the next meeting • AMEDA Legal Working Committee’s members (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, South Africa, Morocco and Nigeria) shall nominate each legal representative and notify the secretariat. • Members approved AMEDA Legal Working Committee terms of reference. • AMEDA will sponsor the CSD12 by a silver sponsorship which amounts $27000

  4. Reviewing Previous Meeting Decisions • The remaining balance of the CSD11 surplus around $73000 will be transferred to AMEDA account for supporting hosting future AMEDA meetings. • Members delegated Mr. Mohamed to reward the CSD11 organising team. • AMEDA next Meeting will be in Tanja (Fez) late March or early April and the meeting after will be in Kuwait early November after the Hajj Season. • AMEDA 2nd ALF will be in Kuwait early November. • Kuwait, Egypt, Nigeria and Bahrain will join South Africa in preparing AMEDA 2nd ALF.

  5. Reviewing Previous Meeting Decisions • Members approved the Loss of Membership article amendment. • According to new amendment, Israel and BVMAC are disqualified starting from this meeting. • Members approved ACS company application of joining AMEDA as an observer. • AMEDA Legal Committee will come up with a definition of associate members, their rights and obligations and it will be discussed at the next meeting.
