  3. A Stripe To Live By (Sportsmanship) During my ancestor’s senior year at Westtown High School, Grandma’s field hockey’s team was undefeated until their last game against Stanford Prep. By the time the game ended it was actually dark. Because of a bad call her team lost. My grandma and her team accepted the loss without protest.

  4. Family Traditions Her father was a Quaker. Her Mother was a Episcopalean. Every Christmas eve they would go to a midnight service in Chester PA.

  5. Hobbies Sports and Games My Grandma went to Westtown Prep and “boarded” there. She started in the 10th grade. At Westtown sports were a requirement from 3 to 5:45 Monday thru Friday. If she hadn’t done that she would had thought she couldn’t take all that sports.

  6. An Adventure My ancestor was 14 it was her 9th grade graduation from middle school. The trip was from Chester PA to New York. She over slept and all of her classmates left without her. My ancestor’s mom told her to get on the train to New York and right when you get off go to the statue of liberty. She did and found her classmates. She was so happy

  7. Connection My Ancestor thinks people should do there best and be satisfied. I think that’s so true.
