  4. How to Use 1. Place the Slide on the Microscope • Clip it down • Click Nosepiece to the lowest (shortest) setting • Look into Eyepiece • Use the Coarse to bring object into focus • Use the Fine resolve (make it clearer)

  5. Magnification I. Enlarging the Object • Ocular Lens • In Eyepiece • Objective Lens • In nose piece IV. Total Magnification = (ocular lens) x (objective lens)
