Private Partnership : Shipping Bilateral Treaties affecting Shipping & Seafarers Agreement on establishment of an International Transport and Transit Corridor between India, Afghanistan and Iran [Chabahar Agreement signed on 23.05.16].Participation in the Chabahar Port development will provide India an alternative and reliable access route into Afghanistan utilizing India’s earlier investment in Zaranj-Delaram road built in Afghanistan, and also a reliable and more direct sea-road access route into Central Asian Region. India-Iran MoU on culture as well as executive program on culture. It can be used to include some event of Indian & Iranian seafarers indicating our age old seafaring tradition. MoUon mutual recognition of CoCs: DGS has agreed to MoU sent by Iran during recent visit of Special Secretary (S), GoI to Iran in September, 17 with minor corrections. It is under consideration of the Ministry of Shipping, GoI. An overall brief on India- Iran relations shows we are moving strength to Strength.   3. Private Partnership : Commercial Management Connectivity & Integration of Coastal Economy • Russia, Iran and India signed the agreement for the NSTC project on the 16th of May 2002. Dry runs of two routes were conducted in 2014, the first was Mumbai to Baku via Bandar Abbas and the second was Mumbai to Astrakhan via Bandar Abbas, Tehran and Bandar Anzali. The objective of the study was to identify and address key bottlenecks. The results showed transport costs were reduced by "$2,500 per 15 tons of cargo“. • 750 nm, 3 Days sailing : Mumbai ~ Chabahar.   5. Private Partnership : Commercial Management Can Iranian Boats do direct Business with India? Cargo Fixtures , Charter Party drawn between Indian Houses and Iran Shipping lines can be great help. Insurance of Cargo and Ships may need mutual acceptance of new patterns as emerging in India and Iran. Can it be on Standard operating Procedures as done between India and Bangladesh. Tanker Trade can flourish as Indian ports on west coast are equipped for trade of less than 10K Dwt Ships. Business ventures will adapt the new dynamics. India is becoming hub of International Ship Management. Office at Iran and India will be the new mantra by 2022. JVs will need presence at both locations giving more access to Commercial houses. There’s scope for Ship Yards in JV with fast track business module, delivering ships which meet Zonal Business. On line Departure for Seafarers and clearance by Bureau of Immigration (BOI) at Airport after passport swipe connects to e-migrate clearance.
