  2. Activity This information can be found in chapter 1. • With your group, make a chart and list the names of the 13 British colonies in North America. Indicate whether it was located in the New England region, the Middle region, or the Southern region; also include the type of colony each was (either royal, proprietary, or joint-stock) • This chart will go inside your book • Then your group should find the following information for each region, this information should be written in paragraph form: • Economy • Government • Religion • Interesting facts • Major leaders • After your group has found this information, the group should put all of the information together into a short book. • Each group’s book title will be: The 13 Colonies • Each group’s book will have 3 chapters

  3. Rubric • Information: must have all information inside in your book • 50 points • Neatness: it must be legible • 20 points • Grammar/spelling: must follow the grammar rules and all words must be spelled correctly • 20 points • Cooperation: must be able to work well with others • 10 points
