  2. The Definition of CALL • The field of CALL involves the use of a computer in the language learning process. CALL programs • aim to teach aspects of the language learning process through the medium of the computer. CALL • programs can be (and have been) developed for the many parts of the language learning process. • Egbert‟s (2005) learners learning languagein any context with, through, and around computer technologies.

Such materials may be structured or unstructured, but they normally embody two important features: interactive learning and individualised learning. CALL is essentially a tool that helps teachers to facilitate the language learning process
