  7. CATEMACareer and Technical Education Management Application Parents notified by letter ahead of time and given the option to have student opt out of CATEMA. Students register themselves for Tech Prep courses during class (5 min.). Tech Prep teacher will determine if college credit is earned at end of course.

  8. CATEMA • To cash in college credits with ACC, the student will need to earn a minimum of an 80% for the course w/ teacher approval. • Credits earned are collected in an escrow account in ACC’s database. • The student must create an ACC transcript by completing at least one course – no credit minimum to collect credits. • All approved credits are then placed on student’s ACC transcript and may be transferred where accepted.
