  2. Friday, May 10, 2013 • Quiet Question---Type Two Prompt---Using your Chinese Dynasties Notes from the Textbook and DVD, complete the following chart. You must make historical evaluations and with your partner, do the following: • Identify TWO MAIN CHARACTERISTICS that define the nature of each Chinese dynasty • Identify and explain ONE EXAMPLE of a change made under each dynasty that had a lasting impact on China.----MUST BE DIFFERENT FROM THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERISTICS.

Friday, May 10, 2013 • Class: After reviewing all the dynasties and examining their highs and lows, as a class we are going to examine the last Chinese Dynasty---Qing Dynasty. • Take notes from the powerpoint on a separate piece of paper. • What were the weakness of the Qing Dynasty? • How did these weaknesses make the Qing Dynasty ineffective in their resistance to Western imperialism?

You will be creating a Propaganda Poster on one of the identified historical events/practices from either the viewpoint of the Chinese or the Japanese depending on what event is selected. • DUE ON: Wednesday, May 22, 2013
