  1. Key Club04.16.14 Thanks for Coming! Please take a seat in the FRONT of the auditorium!

  3. Board Elections… • Time to start thinking about running! • Applications are available now • Elections are April 30thMandatory Meeting • Positions: • Co-Presidents (2) • Secretary • Statistical Secretary • Treasurer • Member at Large (2)

  4. Misericordia Candy Days • When: Fri. April 25th and Sat. April 26th • Guest Speaker: Elise Battle!

  5. Ballerina Program • When: Sat. April 26 10-12 (8 Volunteers) • Where: Warrenville Public Library • What: Help to decorate the room, help the girls with crafts and with clean-up/tear down.

  6. Center for History • When: Sun. April 27 2pm-3:30pm • Where: Center for History (Above Gino’s East in Downtown Wheaton 315 W Front St) • What: Moving boxes with old photographs, artifacts, and archives from the museum to City Hall’s archives. We need people with cars who can help drive! As well as lifters and organizers.

  7. Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast • When: Sat. May 3 6:45-11:30 am (6 Spots) • Where: Gary Methodist Church in Wheaton • What: Serving table and helping out for our sponsors! Dress nicely.

  8. MS Walk • When/What: • Sat. May 3, 2-5pm (Set Up) • Sun. May 4, 7-11:30 (Logistic/timing) • Sun. May 4th 8:30-12pm (Spirit/Cheer) • Sun. May 4th 11-1 (Take Down) • Where: Centennial Park, Grand Pavilion, W. Jefferson Avenue & VFW Drive, Naperville

  9. AAUW Book Sale • When: Sat. May 10 11-2 (4 volunteers) and 2-4:30(15 volunteers).  • Where: Glen Ellyn Civic Center Auditorium, 535 Duane St. • What: The students will help customers carry purchases to their cars, reorganize the books and help in boxing up the books at the end of the sale. Both local and national scholarships are funded through this event. 

  10. Wiesbrook Tiger Trot • Sat. May 10, 7-9 am (30 Spots!) • Where: Wiesbrook Elementary School • What: Helping with water stations, cheering, etc.

  11. NAMI Gala • When: Sat. May 10, 4-9pm • Where: The Marriot -- NAPERVILLE (1801 N. Naperville Blvd) • What: Welcoming and directing guests, Cash raffle ticket sales, The new electronic bidding system, Assisting live auction & Fund-in-Need, Assisting registration and check-out

  12. Johnson Multicultural Day • When: Thurs. May 15th 3:45-8:00 (25 Spots) • Where: Johnson Elementary School • What: Setting up the Multicultural Day decorations and activities. Pizza provided!

  13. Dance Recital • When: Sat. May 10th10:30-1, 1-3:30, 3:30-6 and Sat. May 17th 10:30, 1-3:30, 3:30-6 • 8 Volunteers/Shift • Where: Wheaton Park District Community Center • What: Helping keep kids entertained back stage, tying shoes, and watching the recital.

  15. Taste of Johnson • When: Friday, April 25 • 5:30 - 7:00 (1st Shift) • 7:00 - 8:30 (2nd Shift) • Where: Johnson Elementary School, 2S700 Continental Drive, Warrenville, IL 60555  • What: Helping out with games, events, etc. • 18 Volunteers Needed Per Shift!

  16. Week Of the Young Child Ice Cream Social • When: Friday April 25th, 6:15-8:30 pm • Where: Wheaton Park District Community Center, 1777 S Blanchard Rd • What: Assist with social, hand out ice cream • 1 Spot Left!

  17. Easter Egg Hunt • When: Saturday April 19, 10:00-12:30pm • Where: Cantigny Park, 1s151 N Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189 • What: Crowd control, crafts, and prizes • 14 Volunteers Needed! • To Park, tell them that you’re there to volunteer. • Waivers

  18. Jefferson Family Fun Fair • When: April 26th • 8-10am - Set up the fair • 10-12- Help run or assist with games, bake sale, bouncy house, petting zoo, balloons, etc. • 12-1pm - Clean up and break down games and clean up inside and outside building.  • Where: Jefferson Early Childhood Center, 130 N. Hazelton Avenue, Wheaton, IL 60187 • 15 Volunteers Needed for each shift!

  19. Willy Wonka Jr. Play Volunteer! • When: • Friday, April 25th - 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. • Saturday, April 26th - 4:00 until 9 p.m. • Sunday, April 27th - 2 p.m. until  7 p.m. • Where: Warrenville Community Building, 3s240 Warren Avenue, Warrenville • What: Helping set up, ushering, etc. • 7 Volunteers Needed for each shift! • Saturday and Sunday food will be provided

  20. WWS Boys Track Concessions (FULL) • When: • Fri. April 25th • Tues. April 29th • Tues. May 6th • Shifts are 4-6pm and 6-8pm • 2 volunteers per shift • Where: WWS Field House until April, then the Outdoor Track

  21. DONATIONS • April: Paper Collection for HSP. Paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, napkins, paper plates, etc.)
