  2. Background Information Thurgood Marshall was born on July 2, 1908 He was named after his Great-Grandfather As a child he went to Black Lincoln university in Ceston County

  3. Social Barriers Thurgood got in trouble a lot He was sent to the basement to read and copy the U.S. Constitution He often argued and yelled at his teachers

  4. Positive Character Traits Thurgood Marshall was compasionate. He cared a lot about everybody else and not only himself He wanted everybody else to be happy.

  5. Impact on Society He created legal protections for blacks, women, children, prisoners, and the homeless A person that did what he did would normally get arrested. Thurgood was a very nice man.

  6. Thurgood Marshall Thurgood Marshall died on January 20, 1993. He was a very nice and sweet man. America will never forget our National Hero.
