New Internet Site has Three Data Sources: • Profiles of Academic Majors (PAM) • Organized by unit (majors, colleges, etc.) • 10 years of selected student data • Enrollment Data • Headcounts and Student Credit Hours (SCH) • Final counts for each term for the previous year as well as final counts for each completed term for the present year • GSU Fact Book • Student, Faculty, Staff and University data • Primarily covers previous year Navigating the GSU IR Website
Profiles of Academic Majors: • Is a .pdf (portable document file): Click “Profile of Academic Majors Fall 2007” to open the file. • It can be navigated by using the Adobe bookmark feature ( ) • You will find: • An overview by academic major of frequently requested statistics, e.g., degrees awarded in the previous fiscal year, plus • Three pages of statistics for each academic unit of the university • Entire University • Colleges • Majors Navigating the GSU IR Website

Profiles of Academic Majors: Table 1 • All data are from fall terms • Data include: • Number of enrolled majors • Number of enrolled females • Number of enrolled minorities • Numbers of full-time and part-time enrollees • Total SCH for which students are enrolled • Full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollees calculated using both GSU’s and IBHE’s definitions • Average credit hour load • Average age Navigating the GSU IR Website
Profiles of Academic Majors: Table 2 • All data are for fiscal or academic years, as appropriate • Data include: • Numbers of applicants, admitted, and enrolled students (by academic year) • Numbers of degrees awarded (by fiscal year) • Total degrees • Degrees awarded to females • Degrees awarded to minorities • Costs per student credit hour (by fiscal year) • GSU’s cost per SCH • Statewide average cost per SCH • Difference between GSU’s cost per SCH and the average for the state Navigating the GSU IR Website

Current Term Enrollment Reports: • Available as both Excel (.xls) and Portable Document Format (.pdf) files. • Posted every day: Most recent report is one at the top and furthest left. • Daily reports consist of Tables 1 – 3. • Weekly reports consist of Tables 1-15. • Special dates are identified, e.g., first day of class, drop dates for tuition nonpayment, etc. Navigating the GSU IR Website
