  3. 1. Biología de los quitinozoos Los quitinozoos son un grupo fósil (no se encuentran en la actualidad)de animales cuya posición sistemática no se conoce. Tienen forma de botella (50-2000μm), son huecos y su pared es quitinosa (orgánica). Se encuentran en sedimentos marinos del Paleozoico (Ordovícico, Silúrico y Devónico)
