  5. Rising Action • The events that lead up to the conflict. • Hints that there is about to be a problem.

  6. Climax • Most intense moment in the story. • The conflict is presented.

  7. Falling Action • What events happen to try & solve the problem? • Questions that we had earlier are now getting answered.

  8. Resolution • Ending of the story. • Did they live happily ever after?

  9. Practice • Draw a Plot Diagram and fill it in as you view the video clip. • Pixar "Lifted" Video
