About the Millers The Minnesota Millers Club Baseball program was designed to help players get to their next level.  With our experienced coaching staff consisting of instructors who have played and coached at every level of the game, the Minnesota Millers offers the most thorough and proven development program in the state.  Designed within the team setting, the Millers focus is set on individual development through competition and by offering a professional style training environment that pushes players to reach their full potential. Dedicated to helping young players improve, the Minnesota Millers Club Baseball program provides the foundations needed for young players to develop and get to their next level.  The Minnesota Millers Baseball program has proven a reputation for producing players and teams who can perform and compete against some of the state and nations top talent.   With a coaching staff consisting of instructors who have played and coached at every level of the game, the Minnesota Millers Club program offers the most thorough and proven development program in the state.  Each Minnesota Miller coach brings their own expertise for specific positions or areas of the game, allowing athletes to receive the caliber of position-specific training unavailable through other club programs.

Player Expectations • Priorities: Faith, Family, Academics, and Athletics. • Represent the program appropriately on the field, in the classroom and in you communities. • Respect your coaches, teammates, officials, and your competition. • Maintain a positive attitude. Do not show your ups and downs. • Hold yourself and your teammates accountable. • Teamwork is not a preference, it is a requirement – Encourage one another. • Work hard. Dedicate yourself to improvement every day. • Show up on time. Be prepared and ready. • Do your best. When you fail, do your best again. • Earn the right to be proud and confident.

PRACTICE FORMATS • MID-WEEK PRACTICES • (Tues) • LOCATIONS: • SW Metro = P2P Chan • South Metro = P2P Burnsville • East Metro = SKILLS • NW Metro = MG (Rice Lake)/MG Dome = Wed • FOCUS: INDIVIDUAL SKILL WORK • TIMES (Fall & Winter): • 6-8PM = 11-14U • 8-10PM = 15-18U • FORMAT: TIME ON TASK • 15: Dynamic Warm Up & Throw • 20: Fielding Daily Work (1B/3B/MI/OF) • 40: Rotation 1 (Hitting/Pitching) • 40: Rotation 2 (Pitching/Hitting/Catching) • 05: Wrap Up/Conditioning Testing • POSITION COACHES • WEEKEND PRACTICES • (Sat) • LOCATIONS: • Ft. Snelling (Fall) • Savage Dome/P2P BV (Winter) • FOCUS: TEAM WORK & ON-FIELD SITUATIONS • TIMES (Fall): • 8-10AM = 12U, 14U, & 15U • 10AM-12PM = 11U, 13U, 16U, 17U, & 18U • Winter varies given Dome Times • FORMAT: TEAM NEEDS • Dynamic Warm Up & Throw • Daily Work • Situations & Fielding Reps • Team Defense Plays • Scrimmages • TEAM COACHES

Tournament Details Travel Information Hotels and transportation are an additional expense this year ($175 per tournament). 13U & younger required to stay with a parent(s) while at out of town events. Violation of team rules will result in loss of privilege of staying with team for remainder of tournament and possibly remainder of season. Playing Time Equal playing time through pool play. Playing time earned once we start bracket play (Coaches discretion). Travel Planning Travel assistance will be provided for flight and hotel accommodation.

Fall Tournament Dates 11U-14U Battle of the Bats, August 16-17Des Moines, IA Bluegrass Fall Championship, September 27-28, Elizabethtown, KY 15U-18U Max Bat Exposure Event 1, September 19-21, Des Moines, IA Max Bat Exposure Event 2, October 3-5, Twin Cities, MN Desert Fall Classic, October 31-November 2, Las Vegas, NV (14U Team will be traveling to Las Vegas, NV)
