  1. FatPipe Networks Inc WAN Optimization Technology

  2. FatPipe Networks • FatPipe Networks invented the concept of router clustering to make branch office connectivity reliable without BGP Programming • FatPipe Networks provides best of breed solutions for aggregating bandwidth, optimization and management, prioritization and automatic failover of WAN Traffic dynamic load balancing and security tools • FatPipe Networks has office in the United States, the United Kingdom France, Germany, India, Mexico and Malaysia http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc

  3. FatPipe Products • XTREME is used by medium to large companies requiring redundancy for outbound internet access e.g., Thin Clients. • WARP is used by companies hosting internal servers, requiring reliability & redundancy for inbound and outbound traffic. • MPVPN binds multiple VPN Paths for up to three time the redundancy, and nine time the security • IPVPN binds multiple managed and CPE based VPNs in to one single seamless WAN. No BGP or NNI Programming is needed • Symphony: enables corporations to deploy a single web access control device at a centralized location in a hub and spoke setup to manage corporate-wide web access policies, while avoiding link bottlenecking issues and prohibitive costs associated with increasing bandwidth using private lines to meet end-user demand. • KOMPRESSOR is a packet based compression device that improves your wide area network performance by increasing speed an average of three times. • Spam Police is a network appliance that eliminates junk email and helps protect your network from harmful viruses http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipeNetworksInc

  4. What is High Avaliablity ? • The ability of define, achieve, and sustain "target availability objectives" across services and/or technologies supported in the network that align with the objectives of the business (i.e 99.9%, 99.99%, 99.999%?) 5. Why Improve Network Avaliability ? • The average cost of data center downtime across industries was approximately $7,900 per minute. (A 41 percent increase from the $5,600 in 2010.) • For a total data center outage, which had an average recovery time of 119 minutes, average costs were approximately $901,500. (In 2010, it was 134 minutes at about $680,700.) Downtime : Costs Too Much !!! Source : evolven.com http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc

  6. Downtime Cost Per Minute • According to a study by the Ponemon Institute, the minimum, median, mean and maximum cost per minute of unplanned outages was computed based on input from 41 data centers. In the chart below, the most expensive cost of an unplanned outage is over $11,000 per minute. On average, the cost of an unplanned outage per minute is likely to exceed $5,000 per incident. 7. Unplanned Downtime Impact on Revenue • On average, businesses lose between $84,000 and $108,000 (US) for every hour of IT system downtime, according to estimates from studies and surveys performed by IT industry analyst firms. In addition, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing and energy lead the list of industries with a high rate of revenue loss during IT downtime • $ 26.5 Billion in revenue is lost to North American businesses each year through IT downtime and data recovery http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc

  8. Reliving the Biggest Online Outages of 2013 • Google shut down, and Internet traffic dropped by about 40%. Duration: Less than 5 minutes (Aug 16) • Amazon.com– Internal issues prompted a shutdown, as it displayed an error message. Analysts calculated that it may have resulted in $ 5 million in lost revenue. Duration: 49 Minutes (Jan 31) • Healthcare.gov - A data center service outage led to significant downtime for HealthCare.gov, giving critics of the Affordable Care Act plenty to complain about. Duration: More than 16 hours (Oct 27 to 28) • OTC Markets Group - A network failure prompted a complete shutdown in trading over-the-counter stocks in the U.S. Duration: More than 5 hours (Nov 7) http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc

  9. High Availability Internet / WAN • FatPipe provides resiliency and continuity for businesses through its wide range of solutions available for Wide Area Network. FatPipe offers solutions that conduct line failover automatically; it is dynamic and works with diverse combination of data lines http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc

  10. High Availability Hardware • FatPipe can be setup in a unit-failover scenario, where the backup unit sits at the customer premise adjacent to the primary unit. The two units are in constant communication. The backup unit will automatically take over all traffic if the primary unit becomes unavailable for any reason. http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc

  11. High Availability VPN between Offices & DC / DRVPN Site Failover • FatPipe is the first of market with an innovative feature called, VPN Site Failover, which enables failover of VPN Traffic between branch office(s), main office and disaster recovery sites, utilizing all lines available at each site. • The Server can be located in geographically separate locations and have identical or similar information in both main office and in disaster recovery site. • This is an optional feature available upon request http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc

  12. High Availability Application / Data CenterFatPipe Site Load Balancing Functionality • FatPipe A and FatPipe B Keep constant communication between one another. They check each other's status and they share DNS information. FatPipe A is the primary, and by default all traffic to www.webserver.com will be directed to Site A using IP addresses at Site A. If Site A goes down then Site B will take over Authoritative DNS and all traffic to www.webserver.com will be directed to Site B. http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc

  13. High Availability ServersServer Load Balancing (smartDNS) FatPipe's Server Load Balancing Solution • FatPipe provides a multi-site Server Load Balancing solution through MPVPN product. The MPVPN comes standard with a patented technology, SmartDNS. SmartDNS solves the issue of providing redundant inbound connectivity by advertising DNS on all internet lines. The combination of FatPipe's Site Load Balancing and Server Load Balancing provides high availability, a plenty of bandwidth and all overall guaranteed level of service to the customers and their end users. http://www.fatpipeinc.com FatPipe Networks Inc
